Is laser hair removal permanent?
An effective treatment, laser hair removal offers lasting results. While you can enjoy the results of the procedure for years, it’s considered semi-permanent because some hair follicles may not be affected by the laser hormones and medical conditions can cause hair to return.
However, most patients complete their treatments, and even if some hairs are still growing, it is easier to deal with. Additional laser sessions may be scheduled to address new growth and any stragglers. If this happens, we do offer touch ups!
Why do I need multiple laser hair removal sessions?
Follicles grow in cycles. When some hair follicles are in a live growing phase, others are resting. Since each hair follicle grows in various stages, multiple sessions are recommended to target each follicle when it is growing. It is recommended that you spread out your sessions over several weeks so you get the smoothest, most effective result.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
The process of laser hair removal can cause minor discomfort, but it is not considered a painful procedure. Most patients will feel a small snap when the Harmony XL PRO handpiece targets and removes the follicle. Your technician may apply a numbing ointment to the surface of the skin before the start of your treatment. Patients who have been getting waxed report that laser hair removal feels much less discomfort than getting waxed.

How much does IPL cost?

How quick are the results from IPL?
Visible improvements can generally be experienced after each session, but optimal results can be seen about one month after a full series of treatments is completed. It is normal for patients to respond differently to each treatment session. You should experience a gradual improvement in redness, blotchiness, and dark spots over time.
What are the possible side effects of IPL?
Most treatments can have temporary side effects, such as swelling, redness, blisters, crusting, or bruising this is normal. However, this should fade with-in 2-3 days following your treatment. The treated areas will be sensitive to sunlight, and exposure to damaging UV rays can impact your results. Whenever you go outside, you should always wear sunscreen to protect your skin and help prevent future problems, such as sunspots and redness.
Do I need to prep for IPL?
In preparation for IPL therapy, patients are usually asked to avoid self-tanners and sun exposure for 2 – 4 weeks prior to treatment. You should discontinue the use of certain medications and topical creams, like Retin-A, several days before each treatment, and we may recommend that you avoid taking ibuprofen, aspirin, or other blood thinners for 5 days before your treatment to help prevent bruising. You also need to use sunscreen between treatments.
Why should I get multiple IPL sessions?
Multiple IPL treatments with Harmony XL PRO are recommended to provide improvements to your complexion. Sun damage and skin changes take years to develop and will usually require a serries of treatments to correct. Every session will help to improve and fade sun spots and hyperpigmentation. A series will also produce longer-lasting aesthetic results.

How much does laser tattoo removal cost?
The price of tattoo removal will depend on the number of treatments, size of area, and the pigment used when getting your tattoo. Your tatoo is unique and your treatment will be too.
Why do I need so many laser tattoo removal sessions?
The age, size, color, and location of your tattoo will determine the number of appointments needed to effectively remove your tattoo. During your consultation, your treatment regimen can be planned, including the number of appointments required for you to reach your desired outcome.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
